Cross out the common ions on both sides to get the net ionic equation:
H+(aq) + OH-(aq) ---> H2O(l)

The net ionic equation of the chemical reaction is that which only includes the ions involved in the chemical reaction. The spectator ions are removed from both sides of the equation. From the given above, the ions NH4+ and Cl- both appear on both sides and are removed. This gives us the net ionic equation equal to,
OH- + H+ ----> H2O
