s=v*t
v=12.5 km/h
t=15min=1/4h
s=12,5km/h*1/4h=3,125km

The distance traveled by the body or a system is the product of its velocity and the time it takes to travel the distance.
d = v x t
The time given, 15 min, is also equal to 0.5 h. Substituting the given values,
d = (12.5 km/h) x (0.5 h)
Thus, Joe had ridden 3.125 km.
