Hello,

A: if x=3 then x²=6 but the converse is false if x²=6 then x=√6 or x=-√6

B: if x=2 then x²=4 but the converse is false if x²=4 then x=2 or x=-2

C: if x²=4 then x=2 is false!!! and the converse too.

D:if x=1 then 2x=2 is true and the converse if 2x=2 then x=1 is also true!

Answer D

The conditional and its converse that are both true is “ If x = 1, then 2x = 2.” The correct answer between all the choices given is the last choice. I am hoping that this answer has satisfied your query about and it will be able to help you, and if you’d like, feel free to ask another question.
