Assuming all volume measurements are made at the same temperature and pressure, how many liters of carbon dioxide gas can be produced when 12.8 liters of oxygen gas react with excess carbon monoxide? Show all of the work used to solve this problem. . . Balanced equation: 2 CO(g) + O2 (g) 2 CO2 (g)

We are given with the balanced equation 2 CO(g) + O2 (g) to form 2 CO2 (g). Assuming all conditions including temperature and pressure remains the same for all substances, mole ratio is equal to liter ratio. Hence for every 12.8 liters of oxygen reacted, 25.6 liters of carbon dioxide is produced.
