In this equation, 2(8x-4)-2x = 14x+12 then, solving this we get, 16 x - 8 -2x = 14x +12 or -8-12 = -4x or -20 = -4x or x = 5. Thus, this equation hold true, When we use the equality sign instead of the question mark.
