2x + 5y = 10...we put this in slope intercept form...so basically, solve for y
5y = -2x + 10
y = -2/5x + 2...the slope will be in the m position (y = mx + b)...so ur slope is -2/5

or..
(5,0)(0,2)
slope formula : (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (2- 0) / (0 - 5)
slope = 2/-5 = -2/5

either way should get u the right answer
