Answer:


y=-3x+5

Explanation:

As the new line is perpendicular to the original line, the gradient of the new line (m) will be -1 ÷ gradient of original line = -1 ÷ 1/3 = -3

So using:
y-y_1=m(x-x_1) where m is the gradient and
(x_1, x_2) is the point it passes through:


y-2=-3(x-1)


y=-3x+5
