A 6 foot tall man standing near a geyser has a shadow 4.5 feet long the guys there has a shadow 15 feet long how what is the height of the geyser

Let the height of the geyser be h feet. Now we can equate the ratios of heights to shadows:

(h)/(15)=(6)/(4.5)
Cross-multiplying gives us:

h=(6* 15)/(4.5)=20\ feet.
