Hello,

y=x²-x-2=x²-2*1/2*x+1/4-2-1/4=(x-1/2)²-9/4

1. Vertex=(1/2,-9/4)
2. if x=0 then y=0²-0-2=-2
3.The roots:
x²-x-2=0
==>(x-1/2)²-9/4=0
==>(x-1/2-3/2)(x-1/2+3/2)=0
==>(x-2)(x+1)=0
x=2 or x=-1

4. axe of symmetry: x=1/2
