2463.73 - 183.70 + 678.57 - 35.06 = 3142.30 - 218.76 = 2923.54 (new balance)

Answer:

$2,923.54

Explanation:

The amount of the balance forward is the result of the addition of the deposits and the deduction of the checks issued to and from the starting balance.

The checks reduces the balance while the deposits increases it.

Hence, amount of the balance forward

= $2,463.73 - $183.70 + $678.57 - $35.06

= $2,923.54
