A. Creation of the middle class.
Before the middle class was formed in the middle ages there were only two primary classes/ Nobles, and the lower class. The merchant and artisan class left room for financial independence and free enterprise. Their guilds allowed them to operate by helping them with money as well as protection(As long as they could pay there dues)
