1. He believes that his family's social status is more important than love or happiness - Capulet. Juliet's father is against her love with Romeo because he comes from their enemy family. 2. He dies in a duel because of his pride and his anger - Mercutio. Mercutio is killed because he was too mad and he wasn't thinking clearly. 3. She is torn between her love for her husband and her grief over her cousin's death - Juliet. She cannot decide whether she is supposed to go with Rome or grieve some more over the death of her beloved cousin. 4. He believes that being banished... - Romeo. He cannot stand being apart from Juliet. 5. Nurse - she wants Juliet to be happy and doesn't think that will happen with Romeo.
