Here is saying that I use to identify oxidation and reduction.
LEO the lion goes GER!
Loss of Electron is Oxidation, Gain of Electrons is Reduction!
Cu => Cu2+ + 2e-
Cu has Lost 2 Electrons, so Oxidation has occurred.
