The right answer is 6.

A haploid cell is a cell that contains only one copy of each chromosome.

A diploid cell is a cell that has two homologous representatives of each chromosome.

If a diploid cell of a given species has 12 chromosomes (6 even chromosomes), then its haploid cell necessarily has half and therefore 6 chromosomes.
