Minos tells icarus that the plan is dangerous. why does he want them to take the risk?

It wasn't Minos who told him that the plan was dangerous. Minos was the King who imprisoned Daedalus and his son, Icarus. They were put in the center of the labyrinth that Daedalus created. They were there for many years until they came up with a escape plan, which Daedalus told to his son to be a dangerous one. Daedalus crafted wings to himself and his sun, which were attached to them with wax. Icarus however, flew too close to the sun, causing the wax to melt.
