The hypotenuse of a right triangle is 26 millimeters. One leg of the right triangle is 10 millimeters. What is the length of the other leg?

Hypotenuse = 26 mm

1st Leg = 10 mm

Other Leg = x.

By Pythagoras Theorem:

x² + 10² = 26²

x² + 100 = 676

x² = 676 - 100

x² = 576

x = √576

x = 24

The other leg is 24 mm
