Explanation:

THe sequence 64,16,4,1 as you can see it´s actually going down or decreasing, so the ratio should be a fraction, in order to find that you just have to pair two terms that are next to eachother in the sequence to find the fraction, let´s try it with the first two: 64 and 16:


(16)/(64) =(8)/(32)=(4)/(16)=  (2)/(8)=(1)/(4)

So the ratio is 1/4. You can confirm the ratio by using other numbers in the sequence, like the last two:


(1)/(4)

This is the ratio directly.
