We are given with a 1150$ budget and an expense of $84 and $99 for each watch.

Let's say the number of watches = x
1150 = 84 + (99x)
1150 - 84 = 99x
(1150 - 84)/99 = x

Rounding down the answer, x or the number of watches is equal to 10 watches.
