If hydrogen were used as a fuel, it could be burned according to the following reaction: H2(g) + 1/2O2(g) --> H2O(g) Use average bond energies to calculate delta H rxn for this reaction and also for the combustion of methane (CH4). which fuel yields more energy per mole? per gram?

The fuel that yields more energy per mole would be Methane while the fuel that yields more energy per gram would be hydrogen. I am hoping that this answer has satisfied your query about and it will be able to help you.
