The Vedic Age is a period in history between 1500 and 500 BCE that took place in the Indian Subcontinent towards the end of the Indus Valley Civilization and the "Second Urbanization".

It was a period of time where agriculture, metal, and commodity production had important growth. New occupations such as jewelry, pottery, and leatherwork appeared during these age goods coming from these professional practices such as jewels, pottery, and metal crafts were among the goods commonly traded during this period.
