In a random sample of 10 on-line statistics students, information was collected about their minutes studied and their chapter test scores. X is the minutes studied, and Y is the test score. x : {20,30,45,60,80,90,45,120,90,70} y: {50,45,55,70,80,90,80,100,95,85} Is this relationship positive, negative or no relation?

That is a postive relationship. The trend is that to more minutes studied corresponds higher score. Althoungh there are exceptions,if you put the values ir order of x and graph the points, you will find a curve that trends to increase when you move from left to right.
