If LMNO is a parallelogram:
6 x - 5 = 4 x + 17
6 x - 4 x = 17 + 5
2 x = 22
x = 22 : 2
x = 11
and:
5 y + 29 = y + 25
5 y - y = 25 - 29
4 y = -4
y = -4 : 4
y = -1
