Answer: Second option is correct. i.e. 2x+1=73.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Sum of two consecutive integers = 73

Let the first consecutive integer be x

Let the other consecutive integer be x+1

According to question,

x+x+1=73\\\\2x+1=73\\\\2x=73-1\\\\2x=72\\\\x=(72)/(2)\\\\x=36

so, x+1=36+1=37.

so, the second consecutive integer = 37.

Hence , 36 and 37 are two consecutive integers.

Therefore, Second option is correct. i.e. 2x+1=73.
