The correct answer is B) the French and Indian War.

The French and Indian war was an event that led up to the American revolution.

The French and Indian War, also known as the Seven Tears War, was the armed confrontation between France and England in the American colonies. It started in 1756 and ended in 1763.

The American Revolution was the war for American independence from the British monarchy. It started in 1775 and ended until 1783. Other causes that influenced the beginning of the war were the many taxation acts enacted by the British monarchy such as the Sugar Act, the Tea Act or the Stamp Act.
