d=v \cdot t
d - distance
v - speed
t - time

Car A:

v_1 \\ t_1=2 \\ d_1=v \cdot 2=2 v

Car B:
15 mph faster than car A

v_2=v_1+15 \\ t_2=1.5 \\ d_2= (v_1+15) \cdot 1.5=1.5v_1 + 22.5

Both cars traveled equal distances:

d_1=d_2 \\ 2v_1 = 1.5v_1+22.5 \\ 2v_1-1.5v_1=22.5 \\ 0.5v_1=22.5 \\ v_1=45 \\ v_2=45 + 15 =60

Car B traveled at the speed of 60 mph.
