The correct answer to this question is letter "B. labor intensive." In the Southern colonies, plantation life was labor intensive. anyone on plantations, the blacks usually did a lot of Labor involving work whilst the whites sad inside and got waited on. I only know this from watching that recent movie out, the Butler.
