The correct answer is C. Bay of Pigs. It was a CIA plan to invade Cuba and it wanted to help get rid of Castro and his communists because they were becoming strong. It failed however. Eisenhower at first approved it but later it fell down to Kennedy who withdrew from the bay and left Cuba on its own. This eventually led to the Missile Crisis.
