3x + 7
\geq 2
Subtract 7 from both sides

3x +7 -7 = 2-7

3x = -5
Divide 3 to both sides

(3x)/(3) = (-5)/(3)
Cancel out the 3 from the left
x ≥
(-5)/(3)

Lets do this step by step :)

1st. Subtract 7 from both sides.
3x +7 > -2
- 7 > -7 Now it cancels out on the left hand side. And we solve -2 - 7 = - 9

2nd. Now lets set up our equation again.
3x > -9

3rd. Now lets divide both sides by 3 to isolate x to be alone.
3x > -9
÷3 > ÷3 Now it cancels out on the left hand side. And we solve -9 ÷ 3 = -3

So our final answer is
x > -3

or in word form (x is greater than -3)

- have a lovely day :)
