In a parallelogram, opposite angles are equal, so, lets draw a picture of our parallelogram:

since interior angles of a parallelogram add up to 360 degrees, we can write


70+70+x+x=360

By combining similar terms, we get


140+2x=360

so, by moving 140 to the right hand side, we have


\begin{gathered} 2x=360-140 \\ 2x=220 \end{gathered}

and x is given by


\begin{gathered} x=(220)/(2) \\ x=110 \end{gathered}

therefore, the answer is 110 degrees
