Without the tringles, we will have 3 rectangles

The formula of the area of a rectangle

A_R=l* w

for the first rectangle

l=10 in

w=6 in

A_(R1)=10*6=60in^2

for the second rectangle and third rectangle

l=10in

w=5 in

A_(R2)=10*5=50in^2

the remaining surface area is

SA=A_(R1)+2A_(R2)=60+2(50)_{}=60+100=160in^2

the remaining surface area is 160 in^2
