we have

f(x)=-(2)/(9)x+(1)/(3)

we know that

the y-intercept of the function is the value of the function f(x) when the value of x is equal to zero

so

For
x=0

f(0)=-(2)/(9)*0+(1)/(3)

f(0)=(1)/(3)

The y-intercept is the point
(0,(1)/(3))

therefore

the answer is

The y-intercept is
(1)/(3)

f(x) = -2/9x + 1/3
y-intercept is when x = 0
i.e. y-intercept = 1/3
