If the question is just an expression you need to use the distributive property to get rid of the parenthesis. The distributive property is used to multiply a number to terms within parenthesis.
In reality
(4x-3y)2 = 2(4x) + 2(-3y). So we just Multiply each term inside the parenthesis by 2.
So the answer is
8x-6y
