We use substitution Method,

value of y from equation (1) put in eqn (2),

-3x + 7 = 2x - 8

-3x - 2x + 7 = -8

-5x = -8 - 7

-5x = -15

x = 3

Now put value of x in eqn (1),

y = -3(3) + 7 = -9 + 7 = -2

So, ( x , y ) = ( 3 , -2 )

Therefore, Option A is correct.
