Formula for Electric Field strength , E = V/d

where V = Voltage in volts, and d = distance of separation in meters.

d = 2.5 cm = 0.025 m, V = 15 V

E = V/d = 15 / 0.025

E = 600

Electric Field Strength = 600 Volts/meter

(15 volts) / (2.5 cm)

= (15 volts) / (0.025 meter)

= (15 / 0.025) volts/meter

= 600 volts/meter .
