Given:

Total athletes = 76

We have to choose 1 gold medal winner, 1 silver medal winner and 1 bronze medal winner. That is, to select 3 out of 76 athletes. Therefore, we have:

76P3=(76!)/((76-3)!)

Simplify:

=(76!)/(73!)=(76*75*74*73!)/(73!)=421800

Answer: 421800 ways
