10 degrees Fahrenheit is equal to -12.22 degrees celsius while 305 kelvin is equivalent to 32 degrees celsius. To heat the ice from the initial temperature to the final temperature, sensible heat is absorbed first to increase the temperature to the melting point of ice which is 0 degrees celsius. then latent heat is absorbed to change the phase of ice from solid to liquid. Then sensible heat is absorbed again to increase the temperature from 0 degrees to 32 degrees.
