than x=-2 and x=5 are roots of a function so this mean that this function can writing in the form of this product

f(x) = (x+2)(x-5)

so for get this quadratic just multiply (x+2) by (x-5)

(x+2) *(x-5) = x^2 -5x +2x -10 = x^2 -3x -10

so this mean that f(x)= x^2 -3x -10 has zeros at x = - 2 and x = 5

hope this will help you
