Well we just have to plug in x for 7 and y for 3
given our equation..
2x + 2y = 50
when x = 7
and y = 3

2(7) + 2(3) = 50

Now we know that 2 x 7 = 14
and that 2 x 3 = 6
Now plug those in

14 + 6 = 50
now 14 + 6 = 20
20 = 50?
NOPE 20 does not equal 50

So your answer is FALSE.

Hope you have a lovely day :)

2x+2y =50
2(7)+ 2(3)=50
14+6 =50
20=/=50

This is false because when you substitute the variables with their numbers and then multiply and add, your answer does not equal 50
