A: 3,2

y = 2

y = 4x - 10

2 = 4x - 10

2 + 10 = 4x

12 = 4x

12/4 = x

3 = x

solution is : (3,2)

Substitution!
y = 4x – 10...(1)
y = 2...(2)

You have y=2 here, substitute it in equation (1),
y = 4x – 10
2 = 4x – 10
Add both sides by 10
12=4x
Divide both sides by 4
x=3

We have x=3, and y=2. ==> (x,y) = (3,2)
