Given,
the ratio of height of a bonsai tree to a full-size ficus tree is 1:9
Bonsi ficus tree = 6 inches
Let,
the height of full size ficus tree be "x"
Then,
Using ratio and proportion, we can write,

(1)/(9) = (6)/(x)

(1)/(9)*x = 6

x = 6*{ (9)/(1)}

x = 54

So, the height of the full-size ficus is 54 inches

1:9=6:x \\ x-the \ height \ of \ the \ ficus \\\\ x=(6*9)/(1) \\\\ \boxed{x=54 \ inches}
