The correct answer is B) destruction of infrastructure.

While the European Allied countries did not have to pay reparations like Germany, they did suffer economically because of the destruction of infrastructure.

After World War II, Germany was the country forced to pay reparations due to war. But allied European countries did suffer from economic problems trying to recupérate from the war. Many cities were bombarded and were the location of many battles. Destruction was the constant in many European countries whose territories were part of the battles. Public buildings were destroyed, public services were affected, fabrics were the aim of air raids and all of these affected the infrastructure. These European countries had to invest money to repair the damages in infrastructure and that generated them economic problems.

Alot of buildings were destroyed and trade and stock exchanges were pretty manageable because the Americans opened up Britains trade routes again So I reckon it's B as the Axis did destroy alot of things across Allied territories
