A toy ball has a diameter of 4.44 inches. What are its volume and surface area?

Hello there! =) Well this looks like a lot of work so lets get started! Balls arespheres because they are 3d so we do 1/6*pi*4.44^3(Value of Diameter) which is 45.82975 so we round it to 45.83 (45.83 is the volume).

Next is Surface Area. So for Surface Area we do pi*4.44^2=61.9321 we round it to 61.93(61.93 is the surface area).

The volume of sphere is determined by the multiplying the four third if a pie and the cube of its radius. So the sphere has a diameter of 4.44 inches which means it has a radius of 2.22 inches. By calculating using the formula in getting the volume of the sphere, you will get an answer of 45.83. In getting the the surface area the formula is multiplying four times the pie and the square of its radius, so the surface area of the sphere is 61.93
