A farmer builds a rectangular pen with a perimeter of 116 feet. If the length is 5 feet more than the width, what is the width?

Step 1: w + (w+5) = 116
Step 2: 2w + 5 = 116
Step 3: 2w = 111
Step 4: w = 55.5

Width = 55.5 feet ; Length = 60.5 feet
