y=mx+b
m=slope
b=yintercept
slope=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) where you have the points
(x1,y1) and (x2,y2)
(0,-4) and (6,2)
slope=(2-(-4))/(6-0)=6/6=1
y=1x+b
sub a point
(0,-4)
(x,y)
-4=1(0)+b
-4=0+b
-4=b
y=x-4 is the equation of line AB
