Solution:

Statement 1 : a · b = 0

The product of two numbers can be be 0 if one of the number is 0

So,in the given statement either a =0 or b = 0

Hence the conclusion is either a =0 or b = 0.

Statement 2 : 3x=0

In this statement , 3 cannot be 0

So, x =0

Hence the conclusion is x must be 0 .
