Answer:

C. The destruction caused by the hurricane displaced half of the city’s population and encouraged over 250,000 people to leave Louisiana. However, the need to rebuild the city created job opportunities in construction, engineering, and other fields, resulting in a large influx of new residents.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • The hurricane Katrina a huge storm in the state of new orleans created a large scale migration and destruction of property of the people and thus created a push factor as it motivated people to leave. The pull factor was the need for food clothing and construction and job opportunities and their fields charity related. This led to a large scale influx of local residents.

The push factors of the hurricane obviously the danger that created after the hurricane such as Flood, destroyed facilities, etc. Which will drive migration outside new orleans
The pull factors would be more likely charity related, such as volunteering to help the victims of the hurricanes

hope this helps
