Would take f(x) = 24/3x -2 to mean: (24/3x) - 2

f(x) = 24/(3x) - 2

f(-2) = 24/(3*-2) - 2

= 24/-6 - 2

= -4 - 2 = -6

f(-2) = -6

Answer:

The value of f(-2) is -3.

Explanation:

The given function is

f(x)=(24)/(3x-2)

We have to find the value of f(-2). It means we have to find the value of function at x=-2.

Substitute x=-2 in the given function, to find the value of f(-2).

f(-2)=(24)/(3(-2)-2)

f(-2)=(24)/(-6-2)

f(-2)=(24)/(-8)

Cancel out common factors.

f(-2)=-3

Therefore the value of f(-2) is -3.
