Explanation:

First I added the 8 back to 34 giving me the product of 6 and the unknown number 42 I divided that by 6 to find out what six was multiplied by to get 42 giving me 7.

Second explanation: First I subtracted 16 from 20 to get the quotient of N divided by 2 which is four, then I multiplied it by 2 giving me 8.

x/2=20-16
