In the given figure, angle ABC is bisected by the line BD.

The bisected angle ABD is 55°

We are asked to find the angle ABC?

Recall that whenever an angle is bisected by a line then that angle is equally divided into two angles.

Since we know that the bisected angle is 55° then the other angle DBC will also be 55°.

So, the angle ABC would be the sum of these two angles.

\begin{gathered} \angle ABC=\angle ABD+\angle DBC \\ \angle ABC=55\degree+55\degree \\ \angle ABC=110\degree \end{gathered}

Therefore, the angle ABC is 110°
