Since a triangle equals 180°
We know that x and y angles are the same.
And that 55° + 30° + y = 180°
We just subtract!
sooo
180 - 55 - 33 = 95
So this means y = 95°
And x and y equal the same measurement.
sooo you answer is...
x = 95°

The sum of all three angles in the bottom triangle is 180 degrees, just like any other triangle, and x and y are equal because they're vertical angles. This should be enough info to propel you across the finish line.
